Re: UW2 Design Thread

While Confront/Arrange/Deny were pretty close to each other, you could restrict the stats used for each to make it interesting.

Re: UW2 Design Thread

Sean, this is awesome. The three core moves of UW are like a fancier version of World of Dungeons, and I like the way you've distilled them here.

When you start getting materiels together, I'd love to playtest some UW2

Re: Uncharted Worlds Post-Mortem

Re: Where do you get your general RPG news/discussion these days?

Blogs! Use inoreader or feedly and follow the unified RSS feed here: https://campaignwiki.org/rpg/ (also add your own personal blogs there if you got any). Discord is the new place I go. I moved my home group there, and follow a few smaller servers too. This big mainstream ones are super busy, but t...

Re: A UW zine?

They've gained new steam in the era where everything is digital and owning something physical is novel. Couple this with the FOMO genera...

Re: What are you working on?

I'm in the midst of writing urban adventuring rules for Torchbearer to drop with a custom setting reminiscent of Planescpe or Throne from Kill Six Billion Demons.

Re: Uncharted Worlds Post-Mortem: Part I (What Worked)

It's weird - in most other PbtA games, I think the generic moves are crutches, but the base three here work really well. I wish I knew why. It feels closer to World of Dungeons in that way. I think you could make a generic Launch Assault move ("Resolve a Conflict") that is stat-less as well to cover...

Re: Introductions

Hey I'm a guy that likes UW. I've run more UW than any other PbtA game.

Also, I wrote the thing Malcom is currently playing :)
