ALTERNATE FTL TRAVEL: SPACE-TIME TRAVEL
In a Space-Time setting, advanced civilizations are capable of traveling through both Jumpspace and Driftspace. Like vanilla Uncharted Worlds, starships equipped with Jump-Drives are able to enter Jumpspace, travelling incredible distances in an instant, either through a Wild Jump or with the use of a Jump Lane. A talented crew, however, is also able to use a Jump-Drive to enter Driftspace, allowing their ship to travel through time.

In addition to normal Wild Jumps, the GM might consider creating a custom "Enter Driftspace" move, which comes with its own benefits and hazards.

DRIFTSPACE, THE FIFTH DIMENSION
Since the beginning of modern space travel, Jumps were thought to be the only real way to traverse the black. But with the discovery of a new dimension, Driftspace, everything is going to change. For while Jumpspace allowed ships to travel incredible distances through space, this new Driftspace allows ships to travel incredible distances through time.

The name 'Driftspace' comes from the fact that ships lose all power while inside it, leaving them only able to 'drift'; much like the power disruption effect that all ships suffer just before jumping. Thus, the only way to travel through Driftspace is to calculate a drift angle upon entering it, so that the ship will eventually be carried back into Jumpspace, where it'll be able to finish the jump and return to Realspace.

NEW VESSEL FORM
Timeship Time Vessel. Moves through Driftspace freely, and does not lose power when inside it. Dematerializes, then materializes in the same location at its 'destination' time. Operates in most environments, but requires Boosters and/or Jump-Drive to be able to move through space, atmospheric or otherwise

CREATING A CORRIDOR
'Corridor' is a catch-all name for the wormholes that weave through Jumpspace (Space) and Driftspace (Time), allowing for safe, nigh-instantaneous passage between two points in space-time. They're sometimes naturally forming, but are frequently artificially created by powerful individuals or factions through advanced, closely guarded magical or technological methods. Like characters, each corridor possesses an archetype, which consists of a 'Space', 'Time', and 'Size'. Corridors also possess a class, which is determined by selections made in the Space, Time, and Size categories–with higher-class corridors being rarer and harder to create than low-class ones.

Class 0-3 Corridors can be made by anyone with the right tools and knowledge. While Class 4+ Corridors are typically something only factions and the forces of nature are capable of.

- Space / Jumpspace
Class 0 | Local: connects two locations on the same planet.
Class 1 | Planetary: connects two locations within the same solar system.
Class 2 | Intersystem: connects two locations within the same galaxy.
Class 3 | Interdimensional: connects two universes or dimensions.
- Time / Driftspace
Class 0 | Delayed: user arrives at the exit point, near instantly relative to them, but in actuality taking seconds, minutes, hours, days or more to make the 'trip'; the exact delay is determined at creation, but malfunctions or interference can cause the delay to shorten or lengthen randomly.
Class 1 | Instant: user arrives near instantly at the exit point, within moments of entering the corridor.
Class 2 | Intratime: connects two points in time in the present timeline, separated by a fixed temporal distance, such as '3 days' or '100 years'.
Class 3 | Intertime: connects two timelines together; entering a intertime corridor conveys its user to the other timeline, whereupon they arrive at the 'present', i.e. they exit within seconds of the time they entered.
- Size
Class 0 | Tear: small, capable of transporting hand-held objects through space-time.
Class 1 | Portal: medium, capable of transporting humanoids and small vehicles through space-time.
Class 2 | Gate: large, capable of transporting most vehicles and vessels.
Class 3 | Hole: huge, capable of transporting objects of any size.
